Resolution rules

YES if at least 40 Dewan Rakyat seats are won by candidates officially recorded under Barisan Nasional in SPR’s GE16 coalition/party result grouping. Exactly 40 is YES; fewer is NO. Count the grouping in the declared election result, not a later governing alliance. Candidates officially returned under another party or coalition grouping are excluded even if politically allied; independents joining later are excluded. Use SPR’s final nationwide tally, or sum all its constituency returns using the same official grouping. Do not infer affiliations from endorsements. Wait for every GE16 constituency result, including delayed polls. If the grouping cannot be determined from official returns, VOID only at the evidence deadline. Use SPR’s official GE16 results and constituency list, with the first gazetted election return taking precedence over a provisional dashboard. Trading closes 1 November 2026 at 00:00 Malaysia time. If nationwide ordinary polling starts before that close, VOID. Resolve only after the relevant official results have been declared and at least seven days after nationwide ordinary polling. Later party switches, by-elections, election petitions and later annulments do not change settlement. GE16 must have its nationwide ordinary polling day by 31 December 2028; otherwise VOID only after that date. If the required official evidence is unavailable by 31 March 2029 at 23:59 Malaysia time, VOID. Temporary unavailability before that deadline is not VOID.
