Resolution rules

YES if the main ordinary polling day of Malaysia’s 16th federal general election occurs on or before 30 June 2028 at 23:59 Malaysia time. Otherwise NO if official records establish that it has not occurred by that deadline. Resolve only after 30 June 2028 at 23:59 Malaysia time. If the occurrence or non-occurrence cannot be officially established by 31 August 2028 at 23:59 Malaysia time, VOID. Use SPR’s official polling notice and confirmation that ordinary polling actually took place. Early voting, postal voting, nominations, an announced date that is subsequently postponed, state elections and by-elections do not count. The main date means SPR’s nationwide ordinary polling day even if isolated constituencies are delayed. Trading closes 1 November 2026 at 00:00 Malaysia time. If GE16 ordinary polling began before trading closed, VOID. Do not settle before the observation deadline. Source unavailability before the evidence deadline is not VOID.
