Resolution rules
YES if UMNO’s national Supreme Council or General Assembly formally adopts a decision withdrawing the party’s support for the federal administration led by Anwar Ibrahim, with the decision both publicly announced and effective after trading closes and by 31 December 2026 at 23:59:59 MYT. A published statement by the party president or secretary-general must explicitly communicate that national party decision. Withdrawal at or after a parliamentary dissolution counts only if a qualifying explicit national-party decision is published; dissolution alone does not count. Criticism, threats, individual MPs, youth-wing resolutions, election seat negotiations, a proposed confidence vote, and statements only about future cooperation do not qualify. A later reversal does not erase a qualifying withdrawal. NO only after the full observation window when official UMNO national statements or proceedings affirm continued support through the deadline and the official record establishes no qualifying withdrawal. Do not infer NO from silence or a missing search result. Use the original UMNO statement on umno-online.my or umno.org.my and retain its text, decision date and effective date. Resolve only after the year-end observation window. Trading closes 13 October 2026 at 00:00 MYT (2026-10-12T16:00:00.000Z). All observation dates and deadlines are Malaysia time (UTC+08). A qualifying outcome that is already officially established before trading closes makes this question VOID, not a winning prediction. A rumour or media forecast is not an official result. Never publish before 2026-12-31T16:00:00.000Z. If required official evidence cannot establish either outcome by 2027-01-31T15:59:59.000Z, VOID only at or after that deadline.
