Resolution rules
YES if the 15th Parliament is dissolved with an effective date on or before 31 December 2027 at 23:59 Malaysia time. Otherwise NO if it remains undissolved at that deadline. Use an official dissolution proclamation from Istana Negara or the federal gazette, or an SPR notice explicitly identifying the effective dissolution date; an announcement of an intention to dissolve is insufficient. Automatic expiry counts if the official notice confirms dissolution. Trading closes 1 November 2026 at 00:00 Malaysia time. If dissolution has already taken effect before trading closes, VOID. Do not resolve before 1 January 2028 Malaysia time. If official records cannot establish the result by 29 February 2028 at 23:59 Malaysia time, VOID; not earlier.
